rotifer.db.uniprot.webapi.idmapping.submit_id_mapping(from_db, to_db, ids)

Submit an identifier mapping job to UniProt.

Parameters:

from_dbstr

Source database name, as accepted by UniProt’s ID mapping API (for example EMBL-GenBank-DDBJ_CDS).

to_dbstr

Target database name (for example UniProtKB).

idslist of str

Identifiers to map.

Returns:

str

Identifier of the submitted job.
